oldschool phoenix

This picture was also drawn in honor of , way back in June when I was in Chicago. It was inspired by some old issues of Excalibur that I picked up while I was there (such as the one where Rachel first dons the "Dark Phoenix" outfit).

I actually don't like this quite so much as the "Marvel Phoenix" picture. Her face gave me trouble. Ah well.

That should be the last Rachel for awhile. I don't know when I'll have more fanart to share (I'm pretty embroiled in my original projects at the moment), but the next piece is likely to be Kim Possible.
